You might call it a landing page, or in the case of a free opt-in, a squeeze page. It serves one purpose\u2014to get the reader to take action. Whether that\u2019s to buy a product or offer up their email address in exchange for a free gift, this is the gateway into your funnel. Everything that follows depends on this page, so you want to be sure you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">Include a clear call to action<\/span>\u2014\u201cBuy Now\u201d or \u201cClick here to download this report for free\u201d<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">Eliminate distractions<\/span>\u2014that means no links to other websites or even a navigation bar<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">Address the readers\u2019 pain<\/span> points and how your offer provides the solution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Sales Funnel Delivery Page<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Don&#8217;t ever ask the reader to confirm their intent. Double opt-in features will kill your signup rate.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For a sales funnel, this delivery page might will be your checkout page. It\u2019s where they enter their payment details or, for a free offer, it\u2019s simply the page your email management system directs them to next. It\u2019s a page that delivers your lead magnet, the object which they opted into your list for.\u00a0 this could be a PDF, a video, an audio, etc.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re setting up a free funnel, this page has <span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">great power <\/span>\u2014 and you don\u2019t want to waste it!<\/p>\n<p>Here is where you can offer an upsell, an alternate offer, remind people to follow you on social media, and give them a peak at your other products and services.\u00a0 You will have a higher viewership on your delivery page (aka a &#8220;thank you&#8221; page) than any other page in your funnel.\u00a0 Use it well.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, though, that they will only see this page once, so don\u2019t put anything here that they will need to refer back to. That\u2019s what the thank you page is for.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s why: the person looking at this page is a hot prospect. He or she is in a buying mood. You want to be sure to take advantage of that by putting your most relevant offers on this page. To encourage buying, consider including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">A limited time offer<\/span>\u2014scarcity sells, so if you can legitimately limit sales to a few hours\/days or number of units, then this is the place to do so.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">A \u201cno brainer\u201d coupon offer<\/span>\u2014an insider\u2019s only deal can be a powerful motivator, especially if it\u2019s a fantastic price.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: #ffff00;\">A Related &#8220;free offer&#8221;<\/span>\u00a0\u2014 Any offer to entice the prospect to take another action (a mini-action even) will increase your sales rates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Extra bonuses &amp; Upsells for your Sales Funnels<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You can have additional pages for additional products\/services. These should be bonuses that aren\u2019t advertised on your public sales page. Again\u2014insider\u2019s deals are motivating!\u00a0 You can even put them on a separate &#8220;bonus&#8221; page, creating another mini-action for the reader to click over to.\u00a0 Keeps them engaged!<\/p>\n<p>Putting together sales funnels isn\u2019t complicated\u2014or at least it doesn\u2019t have to be.
