Today\u2019s lesson is all about <strong>brainstorming a list of email topics and setting up an autoresponder series to market for you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An autoresponder series is a great way to build a relationship with your new subscribers. As I mentioned in your last lesson, you don\u2019t want to start emailing your list every day until they get to know, like and trust you better.<\/p>\n<p>Setting up a series is the only exception to this rule, because it allows you to contact them in succession without making them feel like you\u2019re bombarding them with unwelcome emails.<\/p>\n<p>As you create your series keep in mind that one of the most important parts of setting up an effective email marketing campaign is to provide value that will help keep your subscribers active and engaged.<\/p>\n<p>Figuring out what to write about can be a big stumbling block, especially if you don\u2019t have any idea where to begin. To help you with this, sit down and generate a list of topics that will be of interest to your target audience.<\/p>\n<p>Just let the ideas fly. Don\u2019t worry about grammar or editing until you have at least fifty ideas. You can always go back and fine tune your list later.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to think about what your business has to offer as you\u2019re brainstorming. You can also include ideas for short tips, reminders and promotional emails. You want to have a good mix of long and short emails. This way you can contact your list more frequently.<\/p>\n<p>If you are stuck for ideas, ask your current subscribers what they want to learn. Set up a survey or take a poll and find out what people in your target audience are interested in.<\/p>\n<p>Do a little research online. Look at what your target audience is chatting about on social media and (YES) look at what competitors are posting. If they are getting a good response on a particular piece of content, then create something similar.<\/p>\n<p>Here are two easy and accurate ways to find out what people in your niche are looking for in content on the WWW:<\/p>\n<p>1. Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Google.com\">www.Google.com<\/a> and type in your main keyword.\u00a0 Look for the &#8220;Searches related to &lt;your keyword&gt;&#8221; box at the bottom of the page.\u00a0 Copy those to a notepad or Word file.\u00a0 Keep typing in each successive keyword (the ones you got from the &#8220;Searches Related&#8230;&#8221; box) and paste those into your Notepad.<\/p>\n<p>2. Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.YouTube.com\">www.YouTube.com<\/a> and do a similar thing there with your main keyword.<\/p>\n<p>When you are done, and this won&#8217;t take long, you will have the main phrases that your prospects are looking for on Google and YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>You can also search <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesubmarineguy.com\/newblog\/email-marketing-creating-sales-funnels-pay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resell Rights Weekly<\/a> which I mentioned the other day for articles in your niche.\u00a0 Use these to improve on with your own expertise or by combining with other PLR articles in\u00a0 your niche.\u00a0 Sometimes that will do the trick<\/p>\n<p>Now, write articles on those subjects.\u00a0 Use for your email, blog and YouTube accounts to attract more prospects.\u00a0 Always lead to a Lead Capture form to capture them into your <a href=\"http:\/\/FredRaley.Aweber.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aweber<\/a> autoresponder.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have a solid list of topics you can start creating the email content. I like to organize my content chronologically, so that I can send them out in order. Much like this short course!<\/p>\n<p>Here is an example:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Email one<\/strong> \u2013 Welcome\/Introduction to your business and what it can do for them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Email two<\/strong> \u2013 Offer something of value to them (coupon \u2013 discount etc.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Email three<\/strong> \u2013 Follow up to see if there is anything you can help them with<\/p>\n<p><strong>Email four<\/strong> \u2013 Invite them to connect with you on social media<\/p>\n<p><strong>Email five<\/strong> \u2013 A short tip the help them solve a problem<\/p>\n<p><strong>Email six<\/strong> \u2013 Send them to your website to read an article<\/p>\n<p><strong>Email seven<\/strong> &#8211; You fill in the blank<\/p>\n<p>You can do this with as many emails as you like because your autoresponder will allow you to include unlimited emails. The goal here is to lead your subscribers down your sales funnel until they make a purchase.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have all your emails written you can load them up into your autoresponder, set up the frequency and they will be sent automatically to every new subscriber that joins your list, in order.<\/p>\n<p>Now, in my opinion it is never too soon to ask for the sale, so always include a solid <strong>call to action (CTA)<\/strong> in your emails.
