Last week I asked my readers who are on my list from www.SubmarineGuy.com<\/a> what they were struggling with in their online marketing efforts.\u00a0 The following were common inputs I got from my readers.<\/p>\n

Very common themes run through this so good read for all marketers.<\/p>\n

Here we go!<\/p>\n

Shenika writes:<\/strong>
\n I’m struggling to make a capture page and to get real quality traffic with my <insert biz-opp> business and I been working with them for over 4 months now and I haven’t had one sale, please can you help?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Three suggestions Shenika:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 When you only market your biz-opp, your options are limited.\u00a0 The problem is that is what the majority of people do because they don’t understand the basics of marketing<\/strong>.\u00a0 Better to concentrate on building your list with the type of prospects you are seeking.\u00a0 Then you can email them so they get to know<\/strong>, like<\/strong> and trust<\/strong> you from your value-based emails<\/strong> and will be more open to looking at your biz-opp after that.\u00a0 You can also use your email to introduce them to associated products and services, thus building your profit while you build your list looking for folks to join your biz-opp.\u00a0 Most folks either don’t know or forget that you can make money on affiliate sales on a lot of things you use like your autoresponder<\/a>, your webhost<\/a>, your funnel system<\/a>, your lead provider<\/a>, etc.\u00a0 Those are things that every marketer needs so why not offer them as well for the extra profits?\u00a0 Kind of makes sense.\u00a0 Remember who made the most money in the USA gold rush… it was NOT the miners.\u00a0 It was teh folks who sold picks,shovels and Levi’s (yes that’s where they came from.)<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 March upline in your biz-opp organization until you find someone with a marketing system that works<\/strong> and implement that.\u00a0 That is a proven process to succeed in MLM.\u00a0 Once done, you can start teaching the same and become a leader.\u00a0 We really do MLM backwards<\/strong>… you should learn to market first before joining an MLM.\u00a0 If you did, you would know how to market it successfully from the start!<\/p>\n

3. The lead capture page<\/strong> problem has a couple of options.<\/p>\n

a.\u00a0 Get a proven LCP design system<\/strong> like Click Funnels<\/a> and use it to create your LCPs.<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0 Or, use your WordPress blog<\/strong> to create LCP’s like I describe in this video<\/a>.\u00a0 I do that like with this $2k Case Study<\/a> and they pull quite well.<\/p>\n

Use your Autoresponder<\/a> to collect leads up front for followup.\u00a0 80% of all sales are made between the 5th<\/sup> and the 12th<\/sup> contact (some say as far out as the 20th<\/sup> contact.)<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Quality traffic<\/strong> is everywhere!\u00a0 You just have to stand in front of it with your LCP.\u00a0 See my Leads page<\/a> for options.\u00a0 The fastest is probably solo ads from a place like Udimi.com<\/a> Start small and make sure your LCP is converting into sales.\u00a0 Then ramp up for maximum profits.<\/p>\n

\n Cold Calls<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You have picked the hardest marketing method by far James!\u00a0 I applaud your bravery.<\/p>\n

Not sure what specific problem you are having though.\u00a0 If you cold call, you need to have a short message to discern interest from the prospect, then a quick method for them to take the next step; Call info line, watch video online, read blogpost, etc.\u00a0 Once they agree to that, you must get a commitment for them to\u00a0 get back in touch with you.\u00a0 Scheduling a phone call time is the best.<\/p>\n

\n Some free traffic<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As you likely know, “Free” is not really free… you have to spend your time with it to get any benefit out of it and your time is certainly worth something!<\/p>\n

That said, all of the traffic exchanges and Safelists have free membership options.\u00a0 You can also collect credits for others to see your ads by viewing theirs on the TE or SafeList according to their rules.\u00a0 If you have a product for sale that you created, you can use the services of JVZoo or Warrior Forum to promote it and can gain some free advertising from them.\u00a0 You still have to promote the offer on your own of course.<\/p>\n

There are a number of classified advertising sites on the web that you can post ads in for free or a very low cost.\u00a0 You will do well to include a graphic because you will get a far better response with a good graphic.\u00a0 See my Resources<\/a> page for where to get or design good, free, no-license graphics and how to modify them using free tools.<\/p>\n

Learning SEO tactics will help you get organic traffic from YouTube, your blog and other places.\u00a0 Learn how to use SEO tactics and it will serve you well.\u00a0 It’s not as fast as say buying clicks from vendors but it works well over time.<\/p>\n

\n promoting some advertising for <insert bizop> since I am a free member and can get 5% commissions<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Promoting for a 5% cut is going to take a LONG time to make much in profits.<\/p>\n

I would suggest you find an affiliate product at ClickBank that is in your area of interest and create a LCP and blogpost around it to generate some sales.\u00a0 Most of the ClickBank products pay 50% to 75%.<\/p>\n
